Nick grew up in Canandaigua, NY and attended college at Eastern University, a small, Christian, liberal arts school located outside of Philadelphia, PA. He graduated in 2016, receiving degrees in Economic Development and Accounting & Finance. Nick first got involved with 441 Ministries during the summer of 2013 while volunteering at the Farm Stand and Kids Club programs. He has remained involved with 441 Ministries and the Beechwood community since then through volunteering, attending church at New City Fellowship, and simply spending time with folks in the neighborhood.
While in college, Nick became passionate about the powerful link coffee creates between “developed” and “developing” countries. When pursued well, Nick believes this link can glorify God through providing good jobs to farmers across the world while simultaneously providing a delicious, artistic, and functional beverage to others. Nick experienced this first hand while working as a barista at a café near Eastern University and is excited to continue glorifying God through similar work at New City Café.
Nick currently resides in Victor, NY but is planning on moving into Rochester sometime in 2017. In addition to loving coffee, Nick also enjoys running, reading, and cooking.
